Union Grove
Horse Sites: Back in only. No water spigot at the sites. Bring a lot of hose as we only found one water spigot over by the dumpster which was quite a ways away from the closest site. Be able to climb steps with feed and hay as the horse pens are up above the sites. Again, bring plenty of hose as there is only one spigot up there.

Great Experience at Union Grove
We had a great time at Union Grove SP. Clean facilities, beautiful campground, great weather. We enjoyed the playground, the hiking trails, and the picnic areas. The campground was also lovely.

All this to camp in a empty campground?
I will never jump through that many hoops to spend one night at any state park. I could see if it was a busy time but this place was empty. Never again

Nice park, overpriced
Campground was overall very nice. Nice wooded sites and pleasant quiet atmosphere. Shower house was clean and in good order. Sites were a bit expensive, but then tacked on an out-of-state fee AND and a day-use fee. Very overpriced for an electric only site at a state park. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Beware Site #10 has a sketchy electric pedestal.

Horse Camp
I love this hidden gem of a state park with horse trails and camping. I’d love to see a hydrant closer to the corrals. The corrals were recently updated by a Boy Scout troop. Well done.
