Small, cozy campground with amazing hosts.

Camp hosts (Joel and Rose) are some of the best campground overseers. They are extremely friendly, while keeping a very close eye on the health and well being of the park. My family has camped at many campgrounds and I have never seen a bathroom on site as well maintained as this one. The trails do get a little lengthy, so bring plenty of water during warmer months. Camp hosts frequently visited with campers about different activities and trails to keep help keep families engaged. If you like to read, there is a lending library right next to the restrooms. This may seem like a little thing, but when it starts raining when we got some rain and were stuck in the camper, the library became a life saver. If you are looking for a busy campground with a lot of people, this is not the campground for you. Union Grove is a small camp ground with around 20 total sights. There is not a lot of traffic due to the parks location and size. If you have little ones, this is a great beginners campground since it does have a great playground as well as low traffic.
