Nice with issues

Beautiful location, however we had no TV for first day, and no heat in 1 bedroom and living room for entire 4 day stay. Staff was fabulous with what they could fix but could not resolve the heating problem..temps were high 30's in the mornings and 50's during the day.

Great experience

Cabin 8 at spring creek was the perfect location. Very close to the boat ramp and had a great view of the water! The bathroom and living area was great and the bedrooms were quite large. The downsides to the cabin were the super uncomfortable beds that made the loudest noises when you slightly moved and the air conditioner was so loud it was overwhelming when sitting in the living room. Please also consider adding a full size fridge to the cabin. The smaller fridge struggled to maintain temperature and was difficult to fit drinks and food.

Spring Creek cabin #6

First thing we noticed were the dead cockroaches in the bathroom. Mind you, this is $150/night kinda place. Underwhelming even for a fishing trip. We're used to 'roughing' it but thought it would be nice to have a cabin to come back to in the evening to make meals and such. One door on the cabin would not latch, we had to prop furniture against it to keep it closed. Microwave worked, it was on if you plugged it in, off when you in plugged it. Maintenance was very shoddy, looked like 10 years of interns completed whatever was necessary with whatever tools they had. Our cabin neighbors threw bottles at our cabin until 12:30 at night started their loud redneck truck and left it idle until 1, then drive off, but don't worry they came back at 2, oh yeah remember we couldn't get the door to latch, time to move more furniture against the door. I guess we could call someone, like maybe GFP call center located in India, because there's no one else besides the sheriff. Propane cylinder on the grill was empty so we switched it out with another cabin, hope there's no one staying there. Heater sounded like a jet engine taking off, which drown out the nose from the neighbors. We had to trip the breakers upon arrival to get any lights to turn on. I'm going to rate this 2 for cleanliness since they did have rubber sheets on all the beds, but who knows when they've been cleaned last. Momma said if you can't say something nice.... So It has running water, and a good view of Spring Creek. Didn't forget to clean after yourself with the tiny broom and bring your own rags or it'll cost you $50. All said and done, pretty poor experience, do not recommend.

Fair

When pulling back the bed to find an outlet to plug something in, we found a bag with someone’s RX from August of 2024!!! When pulling out the fridge to see why it was not turning on, tons of dead bugs and dirt. Disappointed!
