The Lodge
Overall the Lodge is a great place to stay. The accessibility to the beaches is great! Lots of room to play outdoor games. We definitely appreciate the AC ! It would be nice if the campsites could be paid for at the time the Lodge is booked--much easier to split up costs all at once. Please take that suggestion into consideration. We felt that it could have been cleaner. The walls and ceilings need a good scrubbing. As I said, overall it is great place to gather and camp with a group. Hope to make it again next year....

Off leash losers
Off leash dogs attacked my dog and myself. One dog charged us on Thursday morning but it was a brief encounter. Two dogs attacked us on Saturday. Spoke with camp host.

Very clean and well stocked facilities. Nice camp grounds with ample shade. Wish there were water hookups but it's not a huge deal since there are hydrants to fill freshwater tanks from and very nice shower houses available. Also having the small single bathrooms all around the park is a great idea and they were also clean and stocked.

Need a new App
I wish the app was a little more friendly, you can’t even check your reservation without logging in and you have to do that 3-4 times because if you put your phone down to grab a card or something and log back in. And it’s not easy to log in. Bottom 5 in the apps I use.
Then I pay an out of state fee and I own hundreds of acres in South Dakota and live 4 mile into North Dakota and fees and 90 dollars for two passes. Money Hungry Greedy state.

Lots to Explore
I came for a gravel bike race and decided to stay longer to explore the area. The historical sites like the town of Seim was fun to discover, and I was excited to find the Hugh Glass monument. The town of Lemmon has unique atteactions, and the local residents have been genuinley friendly. The park is well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful! I really enjoyed the hiking trail in the park.
