Park Entry Fee Outrageous
We have been going to Pierson Ranch for years as a family and it has always been a good experience. But this year we were met with a Park Entry fee that is outrageous. I thought the old price was high at $36 per year but the new price of $60 per year is insane. South Dakota has some great parks but it appears to me that they are trying to drive the middle class families out of the parks. $60 a year for a park pass that you might use for a week is ridiculous. Our entire family is now committed to looking for other options. I would strongly suggest that South Dakota bring these fees back down to a more reasonable number so that middle class families can continue to enjoy the parks.

A favorite campground of ours.
The bathrooms were not cleaned to the usual standard we have come to expect at Pierson Ranch, which is one of the reasons we pick this park.

I LOVE camping at Pierson Ranch. My only complaint was that the one bathhouse open t this time smelled VERY VERY bad the entire weekend. I'm not sure if it was the one toilet that was out of service...but it smelled strongly of sewage. Was hard to use.

Tree canopy needs a trim
Great visit. We stay in this campground often. Suggest they trim the trees that hang over the spots, as the branches hang too low over the camper pads for the 5th wheels. Also, the WiFi signal is average at best. We still plan on staying there in the future.
