Hot weekend

Everything was fine. But we did end up leaving Saturday not Sunday. It was too hot really wanted to do the lantern tour Saturday night. Couldn't stand another night

Website challenge

What a beautiful park and grassy sites for tents! We really enjoyed observing the Rendevous encampment and hearing their activities. Using the website was challenging because it kept changing the date of my reservation back to begin on the day I was booking rather than the date I had entered for arrival. I would look at where a site was which would take me away from the reservation page and reset it every time. As a result I paid for three nights and only stayed one.

Very nice!

The cabins are very clean and well-maintained. The pine paneling interior furnishings are really nice. This park is a hidden gem and a great experience of the history of the area.

Great, Quiet Camping Trip

We enjoyed our Family camping trip to Fort Sisseton! We camped on a tent site, which does not have electricity. (none of the tent sites have electricity, however I was instructed that guests can rent an RV Site for a tent to have electricity). Not too far from the tent sites was the barn, which houses 2 showers, which were clean and a great amenity! Lots of Cottonwood trees!

Fort Sisseton fun, tomahawks, knives and campfires.

Fun during historical festival first weekend in June. Tomahawk throwing was fun. Also fantastic time for first weekend of the High Plains Rendezvous that is being held there. Wish I could have enjoyed the whole week there instead of work. Fun times with great folks throwing tomahawks and knives! Slso, All the building are informative and interesting to walk through.
