Okobojo Point Recreation Area is a first come, first serve park. Scenic rolling hills, wide expanses of prairie, and one of the most outstanding vistas along the Missouri River await those who love the outdoors. The miles of sandy beach invite park visitors to play in the water, enjoy a volleyball game, try some shore fishing and walk near the river's waves. Lake Oahe Reservoir, located on the Missouri River, provides hours of outdoor fun. The lake has more than 2,000 miles of shoreline and its clear waters are ideal for boating, sailing, fishing, water skiing and diving. Campers, history buffs, mountain bikers and hikers will find new adventures in this rugged land from explored by Lewis and Clark.
